Coffee Brewing Instructions

Step 1

Boil water in a kettle or pot. Ideally, the water temperature should be between 195-205°F (90-96°C).

Step 2

While the water is heating up, grind your coffee beans to a coarse consistency. You’ll need about 1-2 tablespoons of coffee per 230 ml of water, but you can adjust this according to your taste.

Step 3

Add the ground coffee to the French Press, making sure to remove any old grounds that may be left in the press.

Step 4

Slowly pour hot water onto the coffee, making sure to saturate all the coffee grounds. Stir the coffee gently with a spoon to ensure that all the grounds are evenly saturated.

Step 5

Place the plunger lid on top of the French Press and let the coffee steep for about 4-5 minutes.

Step 6

Slowly press the plunger down, pushing the grounds to the bottom of the press. This separates the brewed coffee from the grounds.

Step 7

Pour the brewed coffee into your cup or mug.

Step 8

If desired, add milk, sugar, or any other flavorings to your coffee.
